Scottish Car of the Year

Founded in 1997 by The Association of Scottish Motoring Writers, the Scottish Car of the Year (SCOTY) is an annual event which celebrates all things motoring.

Each year, the event is full of entertainment, Scottish tradition, and at the heart of the event: the champions of the night. There are 12 category winners, with one ultimately crowned Scottish Car of the Year. Adding to the excitement are four other special accolades – Eco, Used, Design/Innovation, and the President’s Award.

This year’s event will once again be held at Dalmahoy Country Club and Hotel in Edinburgh on November 2nd. Tickets can be bought as a table of 10 or individually, and rooms at Dalmahoy can be reserved as single or doubles. To enquire about rooms and tickets please use the adjacent form.

    As one the most recognised voices on Scottish airwaves for over 30 years, Ally’s voice has also been used at the voiceover for some of Scotland’s best known brands such as The Broon’s

    One of Scotland”s top motoring events organised and hosted by Ally, celebrates its 21st year this November.

    For the last 35 years, Ally has been one of the most prominent and recognisable voices on Scottish radio and has some of the highest listenership on The Greatest Hits Network
