The Scottish Car of the Year (SCOTY) was founded in 1997 by The Association of Scottish Motoring Writers of which Ally was past president and is current treasurer. The event was a huge success from year one and the awards ceremony is now an integral part of the motoring calendar. There are 12 category winners, with one ultimately crowned Scottish Car Of The Year. In addition, there are four other special accolades – Eco, Used, Design/Innovation and the President’s Award. We’re thrilled to announce this year’s event will be once again held at The Dalmahoy Country Club & Hotel, Edinburgh on November 2nd. The event promises to mix the best of business and pleasure, and in its trademark style there will be a few surprises along the way. Each year SCOTY partners with a charity. The headline charity partner for the last 5 year’s has been Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance (SCAA). All the money raised on the night will go towards SCAA to ensure the continuation of saving lives. Please use the form on this page to reserve your SCOTY tickets and rooms.
